Friday night, Chlo and I saw "American Graffiti" at the plaza theater on the garland square. It seemed to drag on, but you know, it was made in the seventies...
If you haven't seen it, see it. It was pretty good. Basically, all it was about was the various occurancies that happened in one night for various teenagers. A couple of them had to go away for college in the morning. One 13 year old girl got a ride with a stranger, and pretended he was her date. One nerd picked up a hot lady walking down the street and they got drunk, kissed, and had their car stolen. One guy became part of a street gang for the night, and stole the nerd's car. And one couple broke up, got back together again, and broke up again, all in that ONE night.
Then, when morning comes, the kids go to college and the movie's over.
Oops, I guess I just ruined the entire plot for y'all. ;)
So much happened, and it all happened in one night, and I pray that life doesn't happen that fast in reality.
And all of this reminds me of "Life in the Fast Lane" by the eagles.
