OKAY. So, in the past two weeks I have managed to complete most everything on the list. I'm not going to lie. I did NOT use electricity from a lemon, laminate a flower, or make a dress- (Though I tried, it was a failed attempt.) But everything else? Pretty much so. Some things I didn't do exactly as I had planned on doing it when I wrote it, but hey? Who cares! So now, let's review:
Swim with dolphins: Yep- in Key Largo, one of my best memories of summer.
Make a friendship bracelet for a stranger: I made it, then couldn't decide who to give it to! Finally I chose one of my neighbors that I've never talked to. He's the type of neighbor, who, when you knock on his door to sell him Girl Scout cookies, he never answers though you know he's there. I also left a little note with the bracelet- "You've got a friend in Jesus". Hope he likes it!
One Day of Pure Nice-ness: I'm pretty sure this has happened. Pretty sure. Maybe on vacation? Oh well!
Get more fit: Dumbells every night before bed, mhm.
Give my mom a special thing: yes(:
Make a Time Capsule: YES~ though it was too hot to bury it today!
Make a cake for Ginger (my nice neighbor): So I changed this one up a bit. Instead I made it for my old violin teacher, who likes to be remembered.
Crochet a bag: Instead, I crocheted two stuffed animals. I thought it was a fair replacement.
Do something that makes me uncomfortable, but safe: The first 5- day club in the park, when it was my turn to tell the story. After the first day, I wasn't really nervous anymore, though.
Make a ring out of wire: Check!
Say something nice to someone I don't like: This is sort of a funny story. I made a cake, then had the someone I don't like (we were having a little spiff that day) to do the "Happy Birthday" writing. As she was writing it, the whole icing thing exploded, literally, on my cake. It was a disaster! Buttttt- I told her, "It's alright, we'll get this fixed in no time!" With a smile. I really wanted to fire her as cake decorating lady, but I didn't. And it happened twice. (:
Get more flexible: Yes~
Make art for dad: Mhm, sharpie + watercolor.
Learn a piano song: You are the Moon, by the Hush sound.
Stick to the violin, make progress: I think so!
Learn Fancy Hair Style: Loose messy/fancy braid. ;)
Dive (well) into the pool: Mom thought so. Then again, she was trying to go home, so she might have said it just to get me out of the pool. I dunno, but I practiced!
Me Olivia laugh: Yes. It was awesome. We were playing a game, where someone writes a random question, and then everyone else writes random answers. Then we see which answer is closest to answering the question. For my question, I wrote down, "Why do Loryn's feet smell like rotten cucumbers?". She burst. Laughing so hard, she fell to the floor, and there, laughed some more. It was really a great moment. Plus, I got pictures, which I will have to learn how to upload.
Have Fun: I don't know guys.... I think y'all can answer THAT one for me! ;)
And that's it. I think it all worked out all right. I'm going to miss summer, I do believe.
Watch out school!
